With the start of the 2020-21 school year being remote, it can hard for students to know the new teachers who have decided to join Bellarmine over the summer. As some freshmen and sophomores know, one of our new teachers is Mr. Biebel. The interview style questionnaire will allow other students to get to know him better so that we can connect with him when we return to campus in late fall or early next year.
Q: What classes are you teaching this year?
A: I will be teaching Freshman World History and Sophomore Modern World History.
Q: How was the teaching experience at Bellarmine so far?
A: Coming into a new school and jumping straight into utilizing the virtually learning platform has been interesting but also encouraging that we can collaborate to make the most of the situation we find ourselves in. My colleagues and students have been great so far!
Q: Is there any particular reason that you chose to teach at Bellarmine?
A: I feel fortunate to be a part of the Bellarmine community and rich tradition. I have many friends who went to Bellarmine and I can already see why it is such a special place.
Q: What is something you look forward to doing in the future at Bellarmine?
A: Sports has played a big role in my life throughout high school, college and beyond. I look forward to getting involved in sports programs and helping students excel in their sports and develop life skills they can use inside and outside of the classroom.
Hopefully, through this article, you got to know Mr. Beibel a little better. As graduate of Mitty, he is familiar with the WCAL, but fully supports the Bells now.
Stay safe and GO BELLS!
