Hi, I’m Peter, and I was an editor of the Bell Online for the 2022-23 school year. I got started with the Bell Online when I joined all the way back as a freshman, and I became an editor as a junior.
As a freshman, there was a different dynamic about the office all the way in the back of the second floor of Sobrato. All the meetings were held after school, and there were sessions to write articles together in the office. Each upperclassman knew each joining freshman, and that sense of community is still present in the Bell Online office today. Even after COVID hit, our culture of community never stopped—I remember playing my first game of Among Us just because of a Bell Online meeting.
But most importantly, the Bell Online has given me valuable friends and has helped me learn what it takes to serve my community. It’s great to connect with admin and staff to ask about articles, and the practice that I’ve gained through writing articles are invaluable. I’m grateful to all the upperclassmen and to our preceding editors such as Alex Clark, Dario Jimenez, and Michael Ahn, and I encourage you all to stop by the Bell Online office one day so you too can learn what this community is all about.

It has been such a pleasure working with Peter these past years at the Bell Online. We will miss him, and we wish him the best of luck in college – we hope he stops by and visits us if he has the chance! We are also grateful to carry the torch from you and all our previous editors and writers.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Mr. Young and Mrs. Slater, we are grateful for their guidance. They unfortunately could not be with us in picture.
The Bell Online will take a hiatus during the summer, during which we will not be publishing new articles. However, I will be working behind the scenes to deliver to you, dear reader, a new and improved format. Have a wonderful summer!
