Fantasy Football Week 5

For Week Five my top QB is Pat Mahomes. He is an absolute beast. It’s that simple. He had an underwhelming game last week but I think he makes up for it this week against Indianapolis at home. I like Deshaun Watson as my second favorite quarterback for this week. Going up against a weak Falcons defense at home, I think he puts up a bunch of points this week. For number three I have Tom Brady. He is the GOAT, and he is playing Washington. Washington’s defense has been lit up every game this season, so he’s definitely a must start. Dak Prescott put up about 27 in Washington week two, I think Brady gets at least 30. I also think Kyler Murray could be a sleeper for a big game going against Cincinnati.

My top RB this week is Dalvin Cook. He is playing the Giants, who did hold Washington to only 3 points last week, but I don’t see that happening again. RB number two is Alvin Kamara. He was held in check by the Cowboys last week so I see him bouncing back against Tampa Bay. The Bucs have not allowed less than 20 points yet this season to a running back so I think Kamara has a big game. Next, I have Christian McCaffrey. He’s been the best so far this year so I don’t see why he won’t have a good week against Jacksonville.

I think WR is a tough position this week to choose a number one. However, I have DeAndre Hopkins against Atlanta. I think this is a good matchup for Houston and I see Hopkins getting a TD and plenty of targets. Number two for me is Keenan Allen. Denver’s defense is weak so I think the Chargers look to pass the ball as much as they can. I don’t have a number three but Sammy Watkins could have a big week against the Colts if he is Mahome’s primary target.

My top TE is Zach Ertz who still hasn’t found the endzone this season. I think he is due this week for two or three TDs against the Jets. Number two I have Kelce, (what a surprise). Only one TD this year but I think the Chiefs put up a bunch of points and Kelce will be a big part of that. For my Number three guy, I have George Kittle. The 49ers have been hot but Kittle has not been a part of it. No TDs this year with no games with 60 or more yards. I think he is the primary target for Jimmy G as the 9ers try to stay undefeated.

If you need a QB this week I would pick up Daniel Jones. He has had an average and a spectacular game through his first two starts. I would look for him to become a little more consistent in the next few weeks as we see how good he really is. Other guys to keep an eye on would be Kyle Allen and Gardner Minshew. Keeping an eye on the Washington QB situation could pay off if Dwayne Haskins gets a chance to start.

Come back next week for my week 6 predictions!

Good luck this week!
