The annual Winter Ball on December 4th was a blast! Students from Bellarmine, St. Francis, Mitty, Notre Dame, and Presentation along with their dates livened up the Bellarmine campus with color, dressed in all their finery. The event lasted for three hours from 7 to 10 PM and was appreciated by all after a hiatus last year. Students enjoyed many fun activities during the Ball, from congregating into the mosh pit and dancing their hearts out to taking breaks in between to fortify themselves with water, hot chocolate, and cookies, the music, and the dancing were the highlights of the event. Aside from Mr. Yav pumping out the latest hits as the DJ and getting everyone to move their feet, a cameraman enhanced the participant’s enjoyment of the event by projecting highlights on a big screen.

Students had many areas available to gather and enjoy the event. An outdoor seating area with fairy lights and heating provided a respite for weary feet in between the energetic dancing sessions. For those who preferred to stay indoors, a sitting area in the Hall of Honor provided a comfortable space to chill and chat. Many students got into the holiday spirit by taking a picture with Santa and capturing fun memories to relive the experience in the future. Students were excited to have the Ball this year and look forward to the next Ball.
