A Preview of Spirit Week

By Ronak Chadha ‘25

The second quarter is starting off with a bang! Spirit Week is rapidly approaching and will take place from Monday, October 24th to Friday, October 28th with a different theme and events every day! The week will be topped off on Friday with the “Holy War” football game against Saint Francis.

The start of the spirit week will feature a student versus faculty basketball game that will take place in the gym during community time on Monday. Bells who are interested in participating can sign up through an online form that ASB will send out in the coming days. The theme for the day is throwback day, with freshmen dressing for the future, sophomores dressing for the 80s, juniors for the 60s, and seniors rocking the 2000s styles.

On Tuesday, community time will feature tie-dying of white shirts in the quad. Students are encouraged to bring their own white shirts for this activity. The lunchtime highlight will be a life-sized Jenga in the quad so come prepared to play with friends! The theme for the day brings back the highly popular “anything but a backpack” to school! Bells can bring anything that is not a backpack such as a laundry basket, a pillowcase, or sacks as an example. Be creative!

For Wednesday, we bring back the fabled belly flop contest, which will take place at the swimming pool. Students who wish to participate can sign up via an online form that ASB will send out in the coming days. If you think you can make the biggest splash, sign up! The theme for this day is Country v Country Club Day.

Thursday spotlights the annual spirit rally, featuring a variety of games for students to participate in, and a stunning introduction that will “brighten” your day! Bells should wear their class colors, as only students wearing their class colors will be chosen to participate in spirit rally festivities.

Lastly, on Friday, enjoy a mouthwatering pancake breakfast in the quad during the break and collect your camo bandanas! There will also be a Halloween costume contest in the amphitheater, so make sure to dress up in your most creative costume. A special prize will be handed out for the best costume during break. To cap off the week’s festivities, join fellow Bells at the football game of the year, the “Holy War” against Saint Francis in camo-themed clothes, and cheer on the Bell football team!

Get ready for a fun-filled week and show your Bell spirit!
